About Us
Sue established her practice as a Dietitian in Wahroonga in 2014.
Practising as a Dietitian for more than 35 years, Sue has expertise in a wide variety of nutrition-related issues.
In 2024 she welcomed Jennifer Barnes into her practice
Jennifer joins the practice after spending time working in clinics specialising in heart disease and oncology, diabetes, liver and pancreatic disease.
Both Sue and Jennifer are committed to helping you feel that you can make changes to your eating patterns that seem manageable and realistic.
They understands that your situation is different to most other people.
Expect them to spend time listening to you, and understanding the things which are important to you. They will take the time to hear what things have affected your food choices in the past, and they will listen to what you feel are your goals now.
Both Jennifer and Sue understand that you may already know a fair bit about nutrition and diet, but you are having trouble achieving your goals. They can help with putting it all together and making sense of it, then working out a plan for you which can make a difference.
Both Sue and Jennifer are Accredited Practising Dietitians. This means they keeps up to date with the latest scientific research in the areas of nutrition and diet. Their recommendations and advice is based on scientific evidence and facts, and if you are interested, they are able to help you to understand the science behind their recommendations and suggestions.
Both Sue and Jennifer enjoy working closely with your doctor, to understand any medical conditions which are relevant to your situation, if appropriate.
At Wahroonga Dietitian the ultimate goal is to help you. Guided discussions will help you to gain confidence in knowing what to choose to eat, so you feel happy that you are making progress towards your goals.
Please note: They are not the ‘food police’! Both Sue and Jennifer will make sure you understand how to manage your eating and still enjoy your food.
